Regional Strategy for Primary Health Care and Health Systems Strengthening

The Institute for Health Systems Research is at present involved in the evaluation of the draft Regional Strategy for Primary Health Care and Health Systems Strengthening for the Western Pacific Region of WHO. A total of twelve key informants took part in the evaluation. They comprised of senior government officials, academia, non-state providers, consumer associations and professional associations.

 

This is a qualitative study which involved in-depth interviews using a semi-structured questionnaire provided by WHO. The study is expected to be completed at country level by mid-January 2010. The officers involved from the Institute are Ms. Haniza Mohd. Anuar, Ms Nur Azmiah Zainuddin, Dr. Roslinah Ali, Dr. Nordin Saleh and Ms Low Lee Lan.
