Introduction

The Institute for Health Systems Research (IHSR) will provide the secretariat services to support the development of the Quality Assurance Programme in the country. This will be in accordance to the decision of the National Steering Committee for QA to identify the IHSR as the National QA Secretariat.

Terms of Reference

To establish policies for the Quality Assurance Programme (QAP).
To determine priorities for development and implementation of the QAP in the various services.
To strategically plan for all QAP activities.
To coordinate and monitor the QAP for the Ministry of Health.
